First Light

First Light is our praise band made up of guitars, bass, drums, keyboards, and singers. We play each Sunday for our NEW modern worship experience Ensemble.  Worship begins at 11:30 a.m. each Sunday.  First Light also plays every fourth Saturday at our Saturdays at the Park worship service at Davis Park.  Come check us out some Sunday morning or on the fourth Saturday at Davis Park.

Ensemble Worship Experience Rehearsal Times: (Weekly)

• Thursday at 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

• Sundays at 10:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.

Saturdays at the Park Worship Rehearsal Times:  (Fourth Saturday of each month)

Saturdays at the Park rehearsals typically take place at Davis Park (4507 Nichol Avenue).  Please check the church calendar or call the church office to confirm.

• Thursday at 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
• Saturdays at 3:00 pm to 4:00 p.m.

Of our two praise bands, First Light offers the most diverse music.  Musicians will have the opportunity to not only learn and play top praise and worship songs, but also secular songs with a Christian message.   Music styles include, Chris Tomlin, David Crowder, Jeremy Camp, Todd Agnew, U2, Garth Brooks, Amy Grant, and a much, much, more.  The sky's the limit!   First Light has a song base of over 300 songs they have performed.   First Light is often invited to play at various venues and events in a concert-style setting and has had the opportunity to play in surrounding counties.

Agape Singers

• Rehearsals: Each Sunday Morning at 10:30 a.m. in Modern Worship Area on the lower level.

• Worship Service:  Agape Singers lead worship each Sunday morning during our modern worship experience.

The Agape Singers is our more contemporary choir. We sing and worship each Sunday along with our modern worship band.  Singing top Praise and Worship songs from Casting Crowns to David Crowder to Chris Tomlin.  We invite all who are interested in singing in a more modern style to join us anytime for rehearsal.   We'd love to have You!

Do you have a musical talent you would like to share with the church?

We also have many soloist, instrumentalists, and small groups that will be performing throughout the year.

We also offer a community Cafe each week from 4:30 - 5:15 p.m.  We invite local musicians and vocalists to come be a part of this community outreach opportunity.  Music is offered during this time-frame each week.
