Community

St. John's Hospice

Volunteers are needed for the St. John's Hospice team.  Training dates and times are:

Saturday, April 12, 8am to 4pm

Saturday, April 19, 8am to 4pm

Training will take place in St. John's Hospital Cafeteria, Room 1.  Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day. 

Applications are available at the church office and need to be received by St. John's no later than Wednesday, April 9.

AIMS Super Saturday

First Church is planning on providing a children's bouncy game for the May 17 Little 500 Cruise In on the Anderson Towne Center. 

We are in need of volunteers to main the game as well as donations to rent it. 

If you would like to be included in this community outreach event, please contact Cindy Quirk in the church office.

Community Cafe

Got a passion for kids? A bit of extra time on your hands?  Come and make a difference in the lives of the children of our Community Cafe guests.  Contact Steve Thomas for details.
