Mary Margaret WillbanksI was born in Denver, Colorado while my parents were in seminary at Illiff Seminary. After Daddy graduated, we began the itinerary ministry in Louisiana and Indiana. I lived in 13 different cities, some more than once and in two different states. I attended 7 different schools from 1st through the receiving of my Masters Degree, some of them more than once! I loved being a minister's daughter and still consider it a wonderful thing to have "family" wherever my family served the Methodist and United Methodist Church! My work experience is varies and has covered a lot of physical miles as well. I have worked in church and business offices as secretaries and assistants. I worked in businesses where I spent money and in others where I counted it. I have assisted pastors and parents. I have taught children and adults. I have worked in this country and in Scotland. I have loved all my working opportunities, some just a little more than others! My church work includes volunteer and paid positions. At this point in my life I am lucky to be in a paid position at Anderson First United Methodist Church. I am blessed to be working with children from birth to age 12. My primary goal is to act as a facilitator for them as they grow in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man! I work with other staff and church members to create, strengthen and enrich the families of our church. I love being able to accept my call from God to further His Kingdom here in Anderson, Indiana! Speaking of families, mine consists of my mother - Ruth, and my father - Bob, one brother - Bobby, sister-in-law Susan, niece Kaitlin and one Australian Blue Healer named Cassie. If the truth be known, I have many "nieces and nephews" because my "faith family" is huge! I enjoy spending time with my extended family and friends while we journey through life.
